The Green - our student village
Our award-winning student village, The Green, puts you at the heart of student life in Bradford, and is the perfect place to call home during your time at university.
It's arranged as a small village, offering self-catered townhouse or apartment living spaces. As a resident, you’ll be a part of a close-knit community, with wardens and ambassadors on hand to help 24/7.
A sustainable campus
With buildings made from hemp, beehives with student beekeepers, and edible gardens, sustainable development is embedded in University life.
We regularly win awards for our environmental initiatives, and our new developments are amongst the most sustainable buildings of their kind. Our campus is ranked the 4th greenest in the world.
Space to reflect
Unusually for a city-centre campus, there's plenty of open space here at Bradford - perfect for outdoor study when the weather is nice.
You'll find many formal and informal study spaces across campus, meaning you'll always find somewhere to get things done if you need a change of scenery from the library.
Food and drink
We have many places for you to relax with a coffee or a meal, or to grab something to take away.
Campus has a theatre, a gallery and a music centre, and student-led societies and clubs covering all kinds of cultural interests.
We run an Arts on Campus programme which offers something for everyone, with regular film screenings, exhibitions, talks and events.
