Get involved with UBU
The University of Bradford Students’ Union has over 30 sports clubs to choose from. These include football, swimming, mixed martial arts, and archery.
Joining a sports club is a great way to make friends while studying with us. Many of the clubs organise regular social events and nights out, and some of them even holiday together.
Whatever you’re interested in, even if you've never played the sport before, you're welcome to join a club's training sessions and give it a go.
Unique Fitness is the University’s on-campus gym, with access to a swimming pool, and sports facilities. They also offer fitness classes, personal training sessions, and spaces for hire.
Memberships start from £9.99 per month, or £100 a year for University students. This includes use of all facilities. There’s no joining fee or cancellation fee.
You can enquire via the contact form or call Unique to get in touch.

The UNIversal Gym Membership scheme allows Sports Membership holders from the University of Bradford to have free access to gym and sports facilities at other universities.
The offer is open to staff and students, and is particularly useful if you have a long commute or have a placement away from campus.
To get involved in the scheme, please get in touch with the Sports Officer at the Students' Union.
Further details and a list of participating institutions can be found on the BUCS website.
