This is Pharmacy
clinical knowledge and practical experience
Our Pharmacy programmes are designed to prepare you for the modern pharmacy sector, giving you the skills and confidence you need to practise as a pharmacist and achieve your full potential.
The programme is predominantly taught using an innovative and active learning method called Team-Based Learning (TBL). In TBL classes you will actively apply your knowledge to solve real-world pharmacy problems through team discussion and debate facilitated by our expert academic staff.
Our 5-year MPharm programme enables you to complete your pre-registration training as part of the programme. This means you will leave us as a qualified pharmacist, pending successful completion of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) registration exam. The programme includes two separate six-month periods of pre-registration experience (usually hospital and community practice).
We also offer a 4-year MPharm programme, where you will need to complete a 1-year pre-registration period after graduation.
Both our MPharm programmes are accredited by the GPhC.
National Student Survey feedback from our students is outstanding, with 98% overall satisfaction from students on our 5-year programme and 96% overall satisfaction from students on our 4-year programme in the National Student Survey 2020.
The University of Bradford is ranked 11th in the UK for Pharmacy and Pharmacology by The Guardian.

There's so many opportunities, you've just got to make the most of the opportunities that you have. The University of Bradford really prepares you for what to expect."
