Data and Integration Architect

Description

The University is looking for a Data and Integration Architect to join the team and work to support the modernisation of the University’s data integration technologies and platform.

The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of modern data integration architectures and technologies, workflows and processes to deliver innovative solutions to data integration challenges.

The post will be line managed by the Chief Architect in the architecture team  and will work closely with the Enterprise Systems and DBA teams, system and data owners.

Qualifications

IT Asset and Configuration Analyst

Description

This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid ma style="text-align: left;"nner.

Are you an enthusiastic and skilled IT professional with experience of managing a CMDB (Configuration Management DataBase) and the asset lifecycle management process?

You will utilise your skills as an IT Professional and be proficient at managing conflicting demands of data accuracy, BAU operations, project deliverables and risk. You will work collaboratively across all functions of IT to ensure that asset information and data is up-to-date and complete, working towards the development and implementation of a CMDB. You will also be responsible for effective liaison with some third-party IT suppliers to ensure service levels are maintained.

Description

IT Project Support Officer

Description

The IT Project Support Officer will provide support to IT Services projects including the delivery of the SITS Programme, which is an exciting initiative consisting of six projects across the student lifecycle. Service Desk and Reporting Team Leader

Description

Are you an enthusiastic and skilled IT professional with experience of working in a first line support environment and supervising an IT team?

You will support the Service Manager in providing a high-quality service through various contact points, including the IT Bar, ServiceNow, telephone, and email.

You will use your extensive knowledge of end user systems to provide first class support to customers, setting high standards for customer services and support. You will lead a team of first line engineers, inspiring high standards of work and an excellent level of technical skill on the University's Microsoft 365 environment and other systems.

Service Desk Manager

Description

The role holder will manage the IT Service Desk function with the responsibility for:

  • First line support
  • Telephony
  • IT purchasing
  • Asset, configuration, and change management

Reporting to the IT Service Delivery Manager, the post holder will develop relationships with all the IT Leadership team providing an insight, through the Service Desk, into problems and issues currently affecting the service.

Developing service reports and providing regular reports on the IT Service to the IT Director is an important part of the roll.
