University Welcome session

Monday 17 January, 11:00-12:30

The Vice Chancellor of the University, student leadership team from Students Union and the Dean of each academic faculty wish to welcome you officially to the University of

Bradford for the 2021/22 Academic Year. This session will be an opportunity to hear what you can expect from your University, the Faculty in which you will study and Students Union for the year ahead and ask questions to the panel.

This session will be held online but there is an opportunity to attend in person for a limited number of attendees.

Student Timetable Familiarisation session

Monday 17 January, 14:00-15:00 (session repeated Tuesday 18 January 16:00-17:00)

The Academic Registrar will host a Student Timetable Familiarisation session with the Head of Timetabling, Attendance and Examinations, Markus Jones. Markus will give you a demonstration along with hints and tips on accessing, understanding and using your timetable. This will be followed by a Question and Answer Session. The session will be delivered on Zoom.

Introduction to Academic & Student Support Services

Thursday 20 January, 11:00-12:00

This session provides information on all the student services at the University of Bradford who can assist you during your studies. This includes: Academic Skills Advice, Career and Employability Services, Chaplaincy and Multi-Faith Team, Counselling and Mental Health Services, Disability Services, The Language Centre, Library, MyBradford, Student Experience and Success Team and the Student Life Team.
