People committee
The People Committee is responsible for providing governance oversight and assurance to Council on matters relating to equality, diversity and inclusion; strategic people matters and the health, safety and wellbeing of University staff and students.
The Committee comprises four lay members of Council one of whom is the Chair, its membership also includes staff and student representation and the Vice Chancellor.

- Thursday 06 November 2025 (deadline for receipt of documents 12 noon, 23 October 2025),
- Thursday 12 February 2026 (deadline for receipt of documents 12 noon, 29 January 2026),
- Tuesday 09 June 2026 (deadline for receipt of documents 12 noon, 26 May 2026).
NB Late documents will not normally be accepted and will be deferred to the next meeting.
