Finance Committee

The Finance Committee is responsible for recommending to Council the University’s annual financial statements, financial forecasts and annual budgets and for monitoring the University’s overall financial viability and sustainability.

The Committee will recommend approval of the University’s Financial Strategy and be confident that it is sustainable and underpins the University Strategy. It will review key financial risks and ensure that appropriate mitigating actions are in place and are effective. It will ratify key assumptions used in financial planning by seeking explanation and clarification as appropriate and will review financial regulations, policies and procedures to ensure they are robust and follow best practice.

The Finance Committee also oversees the Investment Committee.

  • Monday 04 November 2024 (deadline for receipt of documents 12 noon, 21 October 2024),
  • Monday 25 November 2024 (deadline for receipt of documents 12 noon, 11 November 2024),
  • Monday 27 January 2025 (deadline for receipt of documents 12 noon, 13 January 2025),
  • Monday 17 March 2025 (deadline for receipt of documents 12 noon, 03 March 2025),
  • Monday 23 June 2025 (deadline for receipt of documents 12 noon, 09 June 2025).

NB Late documents will not normally be accepted and will be deferred to the next meeting.
