Clearing opens on Monday 6 July 2020
Clearing is another chance to get a place at the University of Bradford for September 2020.
There are many reasons people go through Clearing:
- You've just made the decision to return to education after time away
- You don't get the results you needed for your existing offer and want to secure a place on an alternative course
- You want to go to university this year but haven't yet made an application or received an offer
If you want to study at university this September it's worth making a plan even before Clearing opens – that way you are prepared and ready to move quickly to secure your place.
You can contact our team now to chat through the process and how Clearing might work for you.
Coronavirus and the University of Bradford
Life at university, as much as everywhere else around the world, will feel different for a while, and so we want to reassure you that your experience as a student at Bradford will be safe, enriching and exciting.
From September our campus will be open and – following all national safety guidelines – we look forward to welcoming you to our community here in Bradford.
We are committed to delivering outstanding education to all our students while continuing to offer a campus-centred experience through a blended approach to learning. This means that all our courses will be delivered through a combination of educational technologies and face-to-face teaching on campus.
To reassure you and protect your health, social distancing measures will be in place across our campus, further details of which will be provided to students in due course.
Take a tour of our campus - anytime, anywhere
Our Virtual Experience is a great way to check out campus as you're not able to visit right now.
You can take a guided tour of your subject area, and explore accommodation and on-campus facilities. Dive in and see what you find.
Chat with our students
If you want to find out what studying at Bradford is really like then why not ask our students?
You can chat with one of our ambassadors directly about making your application, your chosen course, their experience of studying with at Bradford - and anything else you would like advice on.
This is where we
It didn’t feel like it was family and university separately, it felt like it was family and university together. It worked really well.
I was saying to Pamela, think about where we would be without this...
That’s the thing they don’t say about degrees, they make you a better person as well as what you learn. When I had interviews before I’d just shut down, but now I’m confident. I’ll apply and if I get an interview, I’ll own it.
This is where I
...found my confidence
I’ve always been a bit of an outgoing person, but I’m more willing to talk about what I do. I have a lot more confidence and a lot more knowledge in science in general - and being able to trust people to help you out and be a better team.
You’re not just sort of learning here, they make you feel like you’re a colleague.
This is where I
...break the stereotypes
I think that when I came to Computer Science, it was like, you know, engineers are quite quiet and not sociable people.
I feel like I realised the potential in myself and showed other people that you don’t have to fit that stereotype.
This is Bradford
You can become the very best version of yourself at the University of Bradford. It’s a place where amazing things happen.
This is where you’ll expand your mind and make lifelong friends. This is where you’ll grow, learn, experience.
This is a place you can belong.
And we’ll support you every step of the way.
