After you've applied

What next?

After you've applied to study at Bradford through Clearing, there are some other things to think through.

Money

Once you've applied to study at university, you need to apply for Student Finance.

Student Finance allows you to borrow money to cover your university course fees as well as your living costs throughout your time studying.

Our Student Life Team is also here to help with any additional guidance you need when it comes to money, whether it's support with Student Finance, or learning how to budget.

Accommodation

The Green is the centre of student life here at Bradford. It is the University's recommended student accommodation and is situated just a few minutes away from the Students' Union, the library and other key campus facilities.

Compared to most university towns and cities in the UK, privately rented accommodation in Bradford is relatively inexpensive.

There is also a range of privately rented houses and apartments located within walking distance of City Campus, with average weekly rates of around £50-£55 (excluding bills).

Step up to HE

Get a step ahead and find out what being a university student is all about. Our Step Up to Higher Education (HE) programme is a great way to prepare for your studies by developing some of the essential skills you'll need at university.

It includes self-access online resources and activities, as well as a live programme of workshops that give you the chance to meet members of staff and other students.

Step Up to HE is free of charge and is available before the September term starts. You can access all of the information and resources before course teaching begins.
