Diagnostic Radiography.

The Faculty has a fully functioning X-ray PACS imaging suite, mobile DR X-Ray unit and a state-of-art PACS suite, allowing our students to review our large database of medical images. This course prepares you to use a range of different imaging techniques and technology. The area of radiography is vast and diverse in terms of the techniques and types of pathology, conditions and trauma being assessed.                                                                             

PACS suite

Students on the BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography programme have access to our fully functioning X-ray imaging suite and PACS suite. 

The computer equipment in the PACS suite allows students to review our large database of medical images, using the same quality of image monitor and software functionality available in clinical practice.

X-ray imaging suite

Students on the BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography programme have access to our fully functioning X-ray imaging suite and PACS suite. 

The X-ray suite, with its range of anatomical and imaging phantoms, allows student to practise on equipment similar to that used in most hospital imaging departments.
