Learning and assessment

You will experience a range of teaching and learning environments. Concepts, principles, and theories are generally explored in formal lectures, demonstrated in laboratory classes, and practised in associated tutorials and seminars. 

Study support

You will have a personal tutor who will cover the areas such as module support, recommended reading, and employment support.

Research

Our research underpins every level of your programme of study. You will be taught by academics who are working at the forefront of their engineering discipline. This enables us to explore with you how theoretical principles are being applied to solve real-world challenges.

Your individual project gives you access to our research facilities and provides you with an opportunity to become involved in a much larger research project being carried out with our Research Groups and industrial partners.
