Dr Giorgia Previdoli

Honorary Visiting Researcher, Wolfson Centre for Applied Health Research

Expertise: Medicines management for older people, intervention co-design, patient and public involvement in healthcare research

Dr Giorgia Previdoli is a research fellow on a National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) funded project, called RESI-Med, that aims at enhancing medicines management resilience in home-dwelling older people living with frailty. 

She joined the Centre for Applied Dementia Studies at the University of Bradford in 2018. 

In 2020 she worked on a study, led by Dr Andrea Capstick, exploring the experience of care home staff caring for people living with dementia during the first wave of the Coronavirus pandemic. The results were published in August 2022 and formed the basis of a stage play, Voices from the Frontline

Since 2021 she has joined the Yorkshire Quality and Safety Research group. As part of RESI-Med, Giorgia is now working with patients and healthcare staff to co-design an intervention aimed at making medicines management safer for older people.
