Crisis as a Driver of Innovation in SMEs – Lessons from Covid-19
About
Drawing on research with over 700 SMEs this session will address the extent to which Covid-19 has acted as a driver for innovation in these firms and the factors affecting the willingness of smaller firms to innovate in the light of significant business disruption.
This will be an interactive workshop and the session will get further insights (the research is ongoing) from those attending to help in designing interventions to further support SMEs in this regard. As attendees of the event you will contribute to the research and the support interventions that result from it. The event will be of interest to SME's, Innovators, Academics and those working to support SME's.
This session will be delivered by Dr David Spicer, Director of Business Engagement for the Faculty of Management, Law and Social Sciences at the University of Bradford.
