About this webinar

What would your ideal future look like for Bradford and the UK? Take a moment to imagine there are no barriers to make change to the district, what would the future look like? Would you change education, healthcare, the environment we live in, the cultural activities you experience, the food you eat?

Based on the concept developed by Rob Hopkins, What is to What if, during this event a panel of people who love Bradford will consider not how things are but how things could be for the city and the UK.

We will consider what can we do to make these imagined futures a reality? Can change be made through civic or social action? Can we all work together to make change in Bradford, join the conversation to find out.

The event will be hosted by journalist and broadcaster Harry Gration and speakers include:

  • Vice Chancellor of the University of Bradford Professor Shirley Congdon
  • Youth enabler, innovator and changemaker Ruth Ibegbuna
  • Self-professed agitator and passionate Bradfordian Cllr Richard Dunbar
  • Bradford student and sustainability champion Bubotu Hachtapika
  • Supply chain analyst and future thinker Kamran Mahroof
  • Youth changemaker Umaimah Siddiqui

Please note, this is now an online event only.
