Career and Employability Services run a number of regular targeted careers fairs every year, attracting a wide range of our students and graduates seeking job opportunities either while they are studying or beyond graduation.
Careers fairs on campus
Our fairs offer you:
- A free opportunity to attract potential recruits to your business.
- An ideal chance to meet a huge number of students and graduates from a variety of disciplines in an informal setting in our large, modern Student Central facility.
- Direct promotion of your organisation and free advertising for your vacancies with a more personal touch where you can discuss your requirements in detail and encourage suitable applicants to apply.

Our biggest careers fair of the year with an opportunity for employers to connect with our students and graduates.
Opportunities: All types of graduate positions, graduate training schemes, entry-level jobs (pt/ft), placements and internships. Open to students from all faculties and year groups.

Career Impact Awards 2026
The University of Bradford’s Career Impact Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students, staff and employer partners who play a vital role in connecting education with employment.
The annual event recognises the organisations that provide exceptional opportunities for our students, including internships, placements and valuable real-world professional experiences that help prepare them for their future careers.
The Career Impact Awards 2026 will take place in November 2026, with further details to be announced soon.
Nominate a Student – Placement Providers
We are inviting placement providers to nominate students who have demonstrated exceptional performance, commitment and impact during their placement in the 2025/26 academic year. If your placement student has gone above and beyond, made a valuable contribution to your organisation, or shown outstanding professional development, we would love to hear from you.
Your nominations help us celebrate the achievements of our students and recognise the organisations that support their career journeys. Submit your nomination here. Nominations close on 31 August 2026.

A previous exhibitor
Interviews on campus and virtually
This service is particularly useful if you are recruiting via our jobs board and want to interview students for local part-time or vacation work. We simply agree a date with you, advertise your opportunities, collect applications for you and, after you have pre-selected, contact the students and organise your timetable. All you have to do on the day is come along and interview.
You can also use our services to interview for graduate opportunities and for placements. You are also welcome to include interviewees from other local Universities if you wish.
