Environmental Accreditation Retained

Estates and Facilities have retained their environmental accreditation, ISO14001 & EcoCampus - Platinum.

Estates and Facilities have successfully retained its SO14001 & EcoCampus - Platinum accreditation after a recent audit. All previous findings were closed out with appropriate corrective and preventive actions. The audit report does give a number of areas for improvement which are being reviewed. No negative trends were identified and the report states

'Continual improvement in environmental performance can be demonstrated.'

Estates and Facilities was one of the first organisations to achieve the new improved international management standard ISO14001:2015 and EcoCampus, Platinum.

The department is leading the way within the university by achieving this prestigious accreditation which ensures thorough systems are in place for continual improvement of their environmental impacts and full legal compliance.
