Two University of Bradford engineering graduates awarded Fellowship of the Institution of Civil Engineers

Published:

Jon Broadhead, and fellow University of Bradford graduate Mr Mark Fulton, (both BEng Civil and Structural Engineering 1985), met up at the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Headquarters in Great George Street, Westminster, on Friday 12th February, to receive their Fellowships from the ICE.

It was the first time Jon and Mark had met in person since the day of their graduation from Bradford in 1985.

Mark works for Pivotal Management Consulting Ltd, based in Nottingham and is currently engaged on the HS2 project.

Jon has been with Abu Dhabi Airports in the U.A.E. for almost two years, having worked previously at Melbourne Airport, Australia; Durban Airport, South Africa; Budapest Airport, Hungary; London’s Heathrow and Gatwick Airports.

It was a proud career milestone for both these Bradford alumni as well as a chance to meet a Civil Engineering legend on the day, Mr I.K. Brunel (as shown in the photo).
