Campus WiFi Project

University announces state of the art, sector leading, WiFi improvements across both City and Emm Lane Campus for 2016.‌

The University will be installing state of the art technology so that students, staff and visitors will have full multi-media WiFi access wherever they are on campus, including social learning spaces and outdoors.

Work began in March 2016 to install cabling and Access Points (APs). Users will begin to see improvements as work in each building is completed and external APs go live

Included in the work will be the installation of Beacons which will facilitate the development of next generation mobile and location services.
