Bradford simulation expert wins Best TECH room oral presentation award

Dr Keren Bielby-Clarke, Lecturer in Life Sciences Simulation has won the award for Best TECH room oral presentation at the 2015 Association for Simulated Practice in Healthcare Conference.

Keren presented a talk on 'Virtual anatomy in undergraduate Pharmacy' and was delighted to receive the prize.

"I was delighted and extremely surprised to be awarded the 'Best TECH Room Oral Presentation' at the ASPiH conference, particularly as there were so many great presentations looking at a wide range of simulation use in healthcare practice."

"I think it just goes to show how our use of different types of simulation, in this case virtual dissection, is helping to enhance not only teaching practice, but more importantly, the learning experience that our Life Sciences students have here at the University of Bradford."
