About this webinar

Join us for a panel discussion with a group of South-Asian Queers reflecting on their queer experience and history.

The panel will reflect on their LGBTQIA+ Queer Icons and discuss their experience as a minority within a minority. The panel aims to highlight the important role intersectionality has played in the LGBTQIA+ liberation movement. They will talk about the past, present and what the future holds for the LGBTQIA+ community.

There will also be an opportunity for the audience to ask questions.

The panel of speakers includes:

  • Norrina Rashid (Bradford Council)
  • Anas (Project Besharam)
  • Usman Ahmed (University of Bradford)
