Venu Vangala joined as Lecturer in Medicines Development and Pharmaceutical Sciences. His research work focuses on building strong capability in interdisciplinary areas of fundamental and applied solid-state pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical technology. Currently, he is involved in industrial collaborative projects with Advanced Extrusion Technology and N4 Pharma Ltd., UK.


Crystal engineering for the development of functional pharmaceutical materials Solid state pharmaceuticals – cocrystals, polymorphs, salts and amorphous materials Physicochemical characterization of pharmaceutical solids Develop understanding of crystal structure vs pharmaceutical properties Current Projects Screening and characterization of novel co-crystals involving active pharmaceutical ingredients.
