Biography

I graduated as a Diagnostic Radiographer from the University of Leeds in 2003 and worked the majority of my clinical career within the Leeds Teaching hospitals Trust. In 2006, I undertook a PgCert in Medical Image Reporting (MSK) here at the University of Bradford, beginning my postgraduate journey to completing an MSc in Medical Imaging in 2017. I began working within MRI alongside x-ray reporting in 2008, and dedicated the rest of my clinical career within this modality. My last role was as a Team Leader in MSK MRI. I have always felt passionately about quality and education, which is why I decided to embark on a new challenge within academia.

I joined the University of Bradford as an Assistant Professor in Diagnostic Radiography in November 2023. I am currently a module leader for Undergraduate Diagnostic Radiography and for Postgraduate Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
