Biography

Dr Kamran Mahroof is an Associate Professor of Supply ChainAnalytics and Programme Leader for the MSc in the Applied ArtificialIntelligence and Data Analytics programme, at the University of Bradford,School of Management. He has extensive industry experience having worked invarious role for leading organisations, most recently for Morrisons Plc, wherehe led various productivity initiatives in Logistics. Kamran continues to holda strong connection in several industries through his ongoing research. Hisindustrial experience has helped shape his research interests, whereby he isactively researching in the areas of Supply Chain Management, Circular Economy,Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Societal Impact of Emerging Technologies.He regularly publishes in high quality, high impact peer-reviewed journals,such as International Journal of Production Economics, Journal of BusinessResearch and Information Systems Frontiers. Kamran makes regular appearances onnational television, radio and in other media and has written several articlesfor the Press, along with other internationally renowned publications, such asfor the World Economic Forum. He is also a Fellow of the Higher Education(FHEA).
