Biography

I studied Diagnostic Radiography at the University of Bradford from 2014-2017, graduating in the summer of 2017. I immediately began working at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust as a radiographer in plain film, picking up additional roles and responsibilities including reject analysis, infection control lead and wellbeing champion. After 5 years I left the Trust and took my enjoyment of teaching students in the x-ray department to begin working as a Clinical Teacher in Radiography at the University of Bradford, teaching students the practical skills they need for radiography as well as liaising with and supporting our clinical placement partners, amongst many other fulfilling tasks relating to student education.

My interests include projection (plain film) radiography, image interpretation, patient care, dementia care, and mental health and wellbeing of students and professionals.

Teaching interests

I am interested in projection radiography and enjoy teaching students the practical skills related to this area. My biggest passion is patient care with a particular interest in dementia, so I always incorporate patient care and communication into my clinical simulation teaching.
