Biography

David is an experienced musculoskeletal (MSK) practitioner having worked in private practice, professional football and within several large teaching hospitals. David has experience of hand therapy and orthopaedic rotations but the majority of his expertise is focused on MSK outpatient practice. David has worked in A&E, community and orthopaedic clinics and led on several services including ACL and post-op shoulder rehabilitation.

In 2014 David successfully applied for a National Institute of Health Research funded masters of Research in Clinical Practice. Following this he worked as a clinical academic for one year, working at both Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and Brunel University. In 2016 he then took up a full time post lecturing at St. Georges, University of London.

David has taught on both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and has previously led on the development of a postgraduate Advanced Clinical Practice MSK pathway. He is a fellow of the Higher Education Authority and has in interest in physical activity promotion, MSK practice and research methods.
