Transformational Leadership and the effects on Leader-Follower Creativity
Kaushal-Bolland, Christopher (2019)
I am a senior higher education leader with responsibility for operational delivery across the Faculty of Management, Sciences & Engineering at the University of Bradford. My role involves aligning academic and professional services functions, overseeing resource planning, and supporting the delivery of teaching, research, and student outcomes across a large and diverse faculty.
My leadership is grounded in over 30 years of cross-sector experience and shaped by a commitment to responsible leadership, strategic planning, and inclusive practice. I lead on initiatives that support organisational change, curriculum development, digital transformation, and operational efficiency.
As a Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming and a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) researcher, I focus on responsible leadership and its role in building trust, enabling innovation, and supporting sustainable change in complex institutions.
Research interests include approaches to organisational change, the impact on organisational culture, the effect on staff attitudes and how ethical transformational leadership can bring about positive results (subordinate innovation and creativity) within the work place.
