Biography

As one of the few joint appointments at a professorial level, the role is shared with her ongoing clinical, research and leadership commitment at consultant AHP level at The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
Having been at the forefront of radiographer role development for over the last 2 decades this role provides an opportunity to utilise contemporary clinical knowledge alongside applied research skills. She leads advancing practice across the Faculty of Health bringing her strategic workforce experience to the academic setting.

Her background in strategic healthcare leadership combined with advancing practice means that her research spans a broad portfolio including service redesign, role utilisation and evidence based practice.

Current research explores the utilisation of cone-beam CT in the redesign of clinical pathways, early evidence in scaphoid fractures. Evidence based techniques in digital radiography including pelvis, knee and foot.
