Our Career Booster Programme is a distinctive and uniquely valuable resource available to all students in the Faculty of Management, Law & Social Sciences. The skills-based content in Career Booster is targeted directly to the evolving needs of employers with the aim of responding to a national skills gap which employers are seeking in their graduates.

The Programme consists of two, week-long sessions consisting of more than 60 workshops, masterclasses, webinars, presentations, lectures and panel sessions which are all free for faculty students.  

The sessions will be delivered by sector experts, our industry partners, guest speakers and alumni.  The programme covers so much from Bitcoin, Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies to hands on experience of Psychometric Tests. Career Booster is a ‘one-of-a-kind’ opportunity to get ahead.

Programme Dates

We held a successful Career Booster programm in Semester 1 with over 1700 students engagement over the 5-day period.  The next Career Booster activity week will take place in Semester 2, w/c 15 February, 2021.  Please hold this week in your schedules and further inforamtion on the activities will be published in due course.

Become a Career Booster Ambassador

The Career Booster Programme also provides you with the opportunity to be a Career Booster Ambassador…be involved in promoting the programme, meeting and hosting sessions with the business guest speakers and supporting the faculty’s professional team with ‘front of house’ duties.  Use this opportunity to increase your skills profile for your CV whilst making new friends and being the ‘face’ of the Career Booster Programme.
