Planning for the UNIfy Community Day

We want you to enjoy your time at the Community Day, so here is some information that will help you plan your day. If there is anything else you would like to know, let us know by e-mailing events@bradford.ac.uk.

Let us know you're coming!

Booking to attend the Community Day isn't necessary, but if you are thinking about coming along, please let us know using the form.

How to get to the Community Day

The Community Day will take place across Unique Fitness and Chesham B.

These buildings are located just off Great Horton Road, close to the University's Shearbridge carpark. There will be lots of event signage, decorations and our friendly UNIfy team will be available to help.

If you are travelling by public transport to Bradford, the University is around a 15-minute walk from the city centre.

Walk through City Park, continue past the Alhambra Theatre and up Great Horton Road. Our campus is approximately 300 metres up the hill, past Bradford College. From here there will be lots of signs for you to follow to the UNIfy Festival entrance.

Please note there will be an Open Day taking place on the same day so both the campus and carparks will be busy. Look out for signage with the UNIfy logo to help to find the event.

For further information on getting here, read more about visiting our campus.

Car Parking

Free car parking will be available for everyone in all of our car parks.

The Community Day will be taking place cross Unique Fitness and Chesham B. We recommend you park in the Shearbridge car park (Sat Nav: BD7 1PP) as this is the closest to the Community Day buildings.

For further information, read more about parking on campus.

Food and drink

We'll have a variety of options to keep you feeling full and refreshed on the day!

Grab a vegetarian or halal 'hot-dog' or a slice of pizza from our pop-up food stall located outside. You can claim your FREE ice-cream from here too, just remember to complete your activity stamp card first! We expect all these items to be popular so remember to grab yours early to avoid disappoint... once they're gone, they're gone!

We'll also have a selection of hot and cold drinks and sweet and savoury snacks at a stand inside the Sports Hall. Prices range between £1.10-£3 per item, please bring cash if you can.

If you prefer to bring your own food, there will also be lots of places for you to sit, eat and enjoy the festival.
