13th Making Diversity Interventions Count Annual Conference (MDICAC) 2024
About this in-person event
The MDICAC brings together renowned scholars, practitioners, thought leaders and students from the UK and internationally to explore and reflect on research and development in Equality/Equity Diversity, and Inclusion.
MDICAC is an opportunity to synthesise and apply knowledge and best practice. The conference focuses on exploring the different interventions for advancing equality, with the objective of informing the development of good practice in the effective use of interventions.
The MDICAC is designed to challenge and create elements of discomfort to those who are happy with the status quo. It provides an opportunity for participants to engage with the subject in a thought-provoking way.
The Barbara Burford memorial lecture

Call for Abstracts 2024
We have a broad theme for our conference this year, returning to basics to ask ourselves some critical questions about the direction of the EDI travel so far. We want to carry out an assessment to understand the nature and effectiveness of current diversity interventions in private, public and third sector organisations.
