Biography

I joined the University of Bradford in February 2021 from Sheffield Hallam University where I had been a Senior Lecturer in social work for seven years. I previously taught social work at Bradford College. I have been working in social care since 1985 and qualified as a social worker in 1991. I have held a number of professional posts and have a wide range of practice experience primarily specialising in mental health. I have practiced as an Approved Social Worker and as an Approved Mental Health Professional. I am a registered social worker with Social Work England.
