Biography
An economist with research and teaching interest in various aspects of development including growth, structural change, poverty and inequality, international investment. Both in my research and teachings I have dealt with various aspects of Quantitative Methods, including Econometrics, Input-Output,Social Accounting Matrices and Computable General Equilibrium Models.
Research
Most my research are quantitatively oriented and are in areas of economic growth, various aspects of poverty and inequality; international investment; structural change and particularly on the role of manufacturing; role of finance; as well as the role of institutional and governance in growth and development
