When your visa is granted, you will receive an entry visa stamp (vignette) in your passport. This visa is valid for only one month and enables you to enter the UK. Once in the UK you will receive your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP).
You will be able to collect your BRP directly from us if you used the ACL code in your CAS letter for your BRP collection. Otherwise you will have to collect your BRP from the local post office. You should collect your BRP within 7 days of arriving in the UK.
If your entry visa expires before you are able to travel, you can apply for a vignette transfer. You can find helpful information about this process on the UKCISA website. Please contact the Visa Support Team if you require further assistance.
If there is an error on your vignette that stops you travelling, you will need to contact the VAC where you had your biometric appointment. If you are not sure if there is an error, please contact the Visa Support Team.
