This module will develop your understanding of employment law in its social and political context. It will enable you to evaluate the nature of different types of employment relationships and the rights and duties therein. It will contribute to the wider aim of LLM in International Commercial Law and other suitable areas of interests (International Business Law). It will also provide you with a framework for understanding and assessing a variety of employment rights, their historical, policy and likely future development. This module addresses aspects of sustainability throughout focusing particularly on ethical practice in employment law, equality, human dignity and social justice. This module is also suitable for any other postgraduate programme, where employment law, sustainable development, as well as international commercial law and international business law would be studied.
