Peace Ephemera Collection

Our peace collections include masses of ephemera: flyers, postcards, posters and all kinds of promotional material created by campaigners. These are an amazing visual resource. We also have all kinds of unpublished and semi-published material, such as conference papers and reports, by key thinkers in peace movements.

We're starting to catalogue this wonderful material though there is much to be done. Please contact Special Collections staff if you have an interest in such ephemera and we will do our best to help you access our collections.

Bear in mind also that most of our archives from peace organisations contain ephemera created by those groups. Witness for example the Direct Action Committee leaflets: Object 11 of the 100 Objects series.
