Horace G. Alexander was a Quaker author and educator. He is particularly well known for his friendship with Gandhi, about whom he wrote several books. Between 1919 and 1955 he lectured in International Politics at Woodbrooke, a Quaker college in Birmingham. During this time, he collected material on the problem of the German minorities in Poland after 1919, where the intermingling of Polish and German communities made the partition of Upper Silesia difficult.

• Books and pamphlets by German and Polish authors on the German-Polish partition and on Polish claims to the town of Danzig.
