Arts Council England and Theatre in the Mill
Theatre in the Mill and Arts Council England have partnered up to offer a Grants for the Arts workshop for performance artists across the North of England on Wednesday the 5th March between 4.30 and 6pm at the Arts Council England Yorkshire office in Dewsbury.

Grants for the arts is the Arts Council’s Lottery-funded scheme for individuals, arts organisations and other people who use the arts in their work. Grants for the arts, supports activities that takes place over a set period of time, engages people in arts activities in England and helps artists and arts organisations in England to carry out their work.
The workshop will be run by Tanja Geier Thomson, Relationship Manager, Theatre; Stephen May, Relationship Manager, Literature, Jessica Farmer, Relationship Manager, Engagement and Audiences; and Iain Bloomfield, Artistic Director Theatre in the Mill Bradford.
The workshop will be of use to performance companies (particularly to emerging companies with no experience of successfully applying to Grants for the Arts) who wish to develop work in partnership with venues.

We will be holding follow up surgeries to look at draft Grants for the Arts applications at Theatre in the Mill on Thursday 3rd April for those who attend this session and are at a draft application stage. Again places will be severely limited on this day and booking will be taken after the 5th March.
