Inbound Exchange Students

We are delighted that you are considering the University of Bradford for your exchange.

You could study at Bradford via one of the three exchange programmes outlined below.

Exchange programmes

  • Erasmus+ - students from Europe can study with us through the Erasmus Exchange Programme.  If you wish to spend time at Bradford as an Erasmus+ Trainee, please see below.
  • Worldwide Exchange Programme - the University of Bradford has arrangements with various universities in Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Canada and the USA. Whether you are able to study with us through this programme is dependent on the course you are currently on, availability of places and the entry requirements being met.
  • International Student Exchange Programme - The University became a member of the International Student Exchange Programme (ISEP) network recently. If your institution is an ISEP member and you would like to study at Bradford, please contact your institution's ISEP co-ordinator in the first instance.
  • International Visiting Students Programme - if you are not from one of our partner universities but would like to spend a semester or year at the University of Bradford you can apply to attend as a visiting student and take a selection of modules of your choice.

Erasmus+ Trainees

We do not currently offer internships specifically for incoming Erasmus+ trainees.

Some departments may occasionally be able to host trainees, therefore please research the University's Faculties and Departments‌, and contact your preferred area directly with a copy of your CV and latest transcript of results.

If you are accepted as a trainee, you will need to contact your home university to check your eligibility for an Erasmus grant.  Any necessary procedures and paperwork required for your grant will also be supplied by your home university.

If there is an agreement in place between the University of Bradford and your home university, you should apply through your university's international office. Please contact studyabroad@bradford.ac.uk for further information.
