We have a number of services dedicated to looking after our students' health and welfare during their time here at Bradford.
- Unique Fitness and Lifestyle sports centre - features a gym with a pool, a sports hall, climbing wall, and physiotherapy and beauty therapy services.
- Student Health Centre - provides a confidential and comprehensive service of health care, with access to specialist facilities. Students who live in the practice area can register with one of the doctors and make full use of the service.
- University Eye Clinic - a working eye clinic that is open to the public and run by experienced Optometrists, Dispensing Opticians and Orthoptists with help from students themselves.
- Counselling Service - our discreet and friendly counsellors are here to help, and there is nothing too big or too small to talk through with them.
If you're under 25-years-old and you're at university for the first time, you should be offered a vaccination to prevent meningitis W disease. You should contact your GP to have the Men ACWY vaccine, ideally before you arrive at university. See the NHS website for more information.
