I have been a registered adult nurse since 2010 where I started working with the specialism of Haematology. I quickly developed a passion for malignant Haematology and caring for patients with these diseases. Therefore I went on to be the Research Sister running clinical trials and recruiting leukaemia patients. I was very involved in delivering their care and provided support throughout their years of treatment. Following my time as a Research Sister I joined the university as a clinical skills lecturer as I have always enjoyed teaching. Now I am a member of the practice education support team. Through partnership with mentors in clinical areas we, as a team, support and advise about quality of learning and practice.
