Biography

Bio ~~~~ Rob Redman is one of The School of Media Design and Technologies newest recruits, having actually come up from grass routes through the Universities� Bachelors� and Masters� programmes centric to everything Video Game Design. Currently studying in the PhD program to earn his doctorate stripes�, he mostly covers all things video game based; from theory and science, all the way through philosophy, history and lineage. His specialities range from, creative writing, rendering systems and pipelines, playability and user centric testing, all the way to in-depth academic research and full debug at command line. You want anything on the history or design of almost any prevalent titles or franchise from the last 12 years? Rob has played it, has completely dominated it as an end user, or knows someone who has! With an impressive array of mods and games that are actually published or available to download online (Xbox live and the Steam Community) you could say Rob knows games.
