Lorna Campbell
Biography
Lorna Campbell is Associate Professor and Professional
Lead for Physiotherapy. After an 18 -year clinical career specialising in paediatric
neurodisability she moved into full time teaching in 2006. Lorna was Course Lead for MSc Paediatric Physiotherapy and BSc Physiotherapy at Sheffield Hallam University
and Course Director of Physiotherapy at Leeds Beckett University before joining the University of Bradford in 2022. Her teaching was focussed on paediatrics and research
methodology.
Lorna is Senior Fellow of the Higher Education
Academy. Her key interest is in developing inclusive practice to enable students
from diverse backgrounds to be successful physiotherapists. Her current doctoral
work explores the whiteness of physiotherapy informed by the lived experience of
people of colour.
