Dr. Analoui is a Professor of International Development and Human Resource Management with the BCID. He lectures on undergraduate, postgraduate and executive programmes both at in the University and as a visiting professor in other universities and business schools. He provides supervision for a number of Masters and PhD projects as well as directing and co-ordinating professional and postgraduate courses/programmes in Management Development and Human Resource Management. He has provided leadership for the Professional Development Services (Training and Consultancy) and has been responsible for the co-ordination of all professional training programmes and consultancy projects both at the BCID and abroad (1996-2004). Professor Analoui has acted as an external examiner for UK and other Universities (IIHE, Sir Lanka) and he is the Associate Advisor to the British Council on management matters and is consulted by DfID as an assessor in relation to research projects on managerial effectiveness in developing countries. Dr. Analoui is an active researcher. His interest is in the area of managerial effectiveness, HRM and strategic managerial reform. He has published several books, published in international academic and professional journals and acts as a referee on the editorial boards of journals and publishing houses. Professor Analoui works as a management consultant both on behalf of the School and independently for the International Development Agencies such as the British Council, World Bank and international consultancy organisations. He also provides professional services and expertise to private and public sector organisations in Europe (Eastern), Africa, Asia, South East Asia and the Middle East. At present he is working closely with senior management of the Ministry of Finance, Department of HR and European Agency in Zagreb to develop strategies for HRM, performance appraisal systems and carries out research on senior management effectiveness in the public sector. He has worked closely with senior management of the Municipality of Muscat, Oman to improve managerial effectiveness for reform. He has recently completed five years of successful Chevening Courses, Public Sector Reform, co-coordinated the MSc in Human and Organisational Capacity Building for Development. he has published a joint volume o 'Critical Capacity Development' (2017), established a collaborative programme with AtKinz  (2019) and has just completed the a four year collaborative research on impact of HRD on public sector reform (2019).At present he is researching onto 'parameters of managerial effectiveness in NGOs in India'.
