Primary Investigator | 2021-11-01T00:00:00 | This is a scoping study involving whanau, hapu and iwi from Ngati Kahungunu. Key leaders from the Maori community within Ngati Kahungunu are wanting to explore new ways of connecting with each other as protective factors for healthy outcomes. COVID-19 has shone a light on how staying connected does not always involve a physical space and place. | Primary Investigator
Co-Investigator | 2021-10-04T00:00:00 | The project will involve the development of a database of industry stakeholders who currently employ case managers in the NZ health workforce. Currently there is no regulatory or professional centralised body which represents those who work in case management roles. Industry providers will be identified through the extensive database searching needed for the scoping review. The database will help with the development of stakeholder consultation groups and could be used to identify potential research participants for future case management projects. A central repository for relevant information on case management in New Zealand will also be developed. | Co-Investigator
Co-Investigator | 2021-09-01T00:00:00 | To mobilise transformational practices of academic staff within and beyond the intermediate semester at Auckland University of Technology, NZ. We adopt Mezirow’s (2000) inclusive concept of transformational educational practices, enabling critical awareness of assumptions/expectations, meaning making and development of practices. Significance: This research complements projects in FHES: Healthy Futures (new degree architecture), Intermediate Semester and Canvas migration, focusing on what of curriculum. Curriculum changes provide us the opportunity to explore how transformative practices can be mobilised in and beyond the intermediate semester. This research contributes to Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL), whereby outcomes can directly and immediately inform practices in the intermediate semester. | Co-Investigator
Co-author | 2021-09-03T00:00:00 | This review will consider studies that evaluate or measure any self-compassion education, education programs, or training workshops, seminars, and sessions targeted for parents, parent, mother, father, expectant parents, families, or families. This self-compassion included studies that provide an education program or training session by all health professionals or educators (health workers, social workers/counsellors, psychologists, nurses, midwives). Self-compassion education may be provided face-to-face, one-to-one, group work, webinar, digital or online programs, training, workshops, parental education classes or simulation, training workshops, seminars, sessions. |
