Biography

Dr Ahmad Ghoneim is a Senior Lecturer and Director of Accreditations at the Faculty of Management and Law, University of Bradford. He got his PhD in Information Systems Evaluation with a focus on the indirect costs associated with developing Information Systems from Brunel University London. He has 50 peer-reviewed internationally refereed papers, and published his work in well-acclaimed journals such as the European Journal of Operational Research as well as in international conferences. He is on the editorial team of several journals and co-edited a special issue for the European Journal of Information Systems and International Journal of Cases in E-commerce. He is the Chair of the well-acclaimed grade (B) European Mediterranean and Middle Eastern Conference on Information Systems (EMCIS). Dr Ghoneim teaches MBA, Masters and Undergraduate students a variety of Information Systems/Management and technology-related subjects, namely: Digital/Internet Marketing, Database and Customer Relationship Marketing, and Strategic Marketing/Business Simulations, Social Media and Data Analytics for over 9 years. He successfully supervised PhD, MBA and MSc and UG students in Marketing-related research. He also delivered Micro-MBA workshops for the Cabinet office and Her Majesty’s HM-Treasury on leveraging Social Media. He is a Certified Markstrat and Blue Ocean Strategy Simulation (BOSS) Instructor aimed at MBA students and trained in SAS Enterprise Guide Analytical tool. He is a certified Recognised Programme Developer (RPD). His research interests include Information Systems adoption and evaluation in public and private sectors, Trust in Digital Technologies, e-retailing, CRM, and Knowledge management, Digital Marketing, Social Media, and eBusiness diffusion. He has led a grant for the UK Higher Education Academy on enhancing the alignment of programme level accreditation. He is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
