Biography
AmizanOmar (Ph.D.) is an Associate Professor inStrategic Management at School of Management, University of Bradford, United Kingdom,and Director of Accreditation in the Faculty of Management, Law and SocialSciences. Her passion for research is interdisciplinary in nature focusing onthe institutionalisation of digital technology in organisations, particularly therole of digital technologies and their interplays with institutional actors andstructures in the context of public sector service transformation, and theirimplication on tackling managerial and societal issues, for sustainablesocieties. She has published over 30 scientific articles in leadingpeer-reviewed journals and conferences and involved as Co-investigator in multi-million-poundworth of research projects funded by European Commission (FP7 and H2020) and UKLocal Government. She is an invited member of editorial advisory board ofJournal of Information Technology (JIT) and Journal of Electronic GovernmentResearch (IJEGR), and Chair of digital government mini-track for 2022 AmericasConference on Information Systems. She is a Fellow of the UK Higher EducationAcademy (FHEA), and an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Personnel andDevelopment, as well as a member of the British Academy of Management (BAM) andAssociation for Information Systems (AIS).
