Recent successes of PhD students

In recent weeks we were celebrating a number of successes of our PhD students. Except of successful and impressive completions of few Research Dissertations a number of our students, were awarded with various grants, and scholarships.

Within a week of his graduation, Carlo Aldrovandi was offered a lectureship at the Irish School of Ecumenics, Trinity College Dublin. The book based on his PhD dissertation, Apocalyptic and Messianic Movements in International Politics: Christian and Jewish Zionism, will be published by Palgrave-Macmillan in 2013.
 
From September 2012 to June 2013 Julia Smith will be on an Erasmus Exchange to l'Universite Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium. There she will continue her research on the political economy of the global AIDS response. Julia has received a grant from the Foundation for Women Graduates to support her studies.
 
Five of our PhD students received Marie Curie Fellowships and are currently spending year in partner institutions in:

  • Nadia Ferrer Sanz - Utrech
  • Roberta Holanda Maschietto - Coimbra
  • Patrick Illmer - Bilbao
  • Jarred Ordway - Coimbra
  • Julia Ruppel - Leuven
