PS Nayef Al Faraj Nayef Al Faraj

MA (2000)

‘I’m from the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan. I finished the course of MA in Conflict Resolution at the University of Bradford in the year 2000. After returning to my country, I was looking for a job for six months before I finally found one at the Jordan Institute of Diplomacy in the Public Relations and Conferences Department. During this time I attended several training courses abroad such as ‘International Conflict Resolution’ at Uppsala University in Sweden, and ‘Human Security’ in Malta. ‘In 2001 I applied for the position of diplomat at the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign affairs. The preparation and examinations lasted a year, after which I was accepted and enrolled in a training course at the Jordan Institute of Diplomacy for a year. ‘I worked another year in rotation at the Foreign Ministry until I was posted in May 2004 to Bern, Switzerland, where I was assigned the position of the Jordanian consul in Switzerland.’
