‘I have been working on Peacebuilding activities among the pastoralist communities in Eastern Africa and the Greater Horn of Africa. My main activities are in the fields of inter-community dialogue, training of communities and NGO Staff, government officials, research, policy advocacy/lobbying, and linking peacebuilding to development. I’m still working for Intermediate Technology Development Group- Eastern Africa, as Senior Programme Manger, in charge of Disaster and Conflict. (ITDGEA). I have published several research findings eg. Conflict in Northern Kenya: Focus on the Internally Displaced People; Indigenous Democracy Closed to Progress: The Social Economic Impact of Conflict in the Region; and Policy Review papers.’
