X-ray your future. For BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography, 2019 entry.
Diagnostic Radiography is the practice of using various forms of radiation to produce high quality images, which aid in the diagnosis and subsequent treatment of injury or disease. It is a technology-dependent discipline, which has patient care as its main concern.
During this course you will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of imaging techniques, and you may then decide to specialise in one or more of them when you are qualified. At the University of Bradford, you will have access to facilities and equipment similar to that used in most hospital imaging departments. The clinical experience you will gain while studying at Bradford will give you a unique understanding of the traditions, values and beliefs in delivering care that is responsive to the needs of patients in a multi-cultural environment.
The taster day will give you an insight in to the knowledge and skills required by radiographers to perform their work by taking part in tutorials in our practical rooms related to an x-ray examination of the wrist and reviewing images of various body parts.
Please note: Registration for the event starts at 13:30.
